The Gods Must Be Crazy

Hello! I'm going to write about a movie. I watched the movie of title is "The Gods Must Be Crazy." It's Michael's recommend movie. When I watched it first in class, I was confused because it was too old, and I didn't understand story. After that I was so exciting and had a great time. I think the funniest scene is adventure of a man. He didn’t many things because he lives in place without civilization, but he learned many things through his adventure to chuck out a coke bottle. Finally, he could chuck out the coke bottle in a ravine. I think that if you want to watch this movie, you have to watch the end because you might be able to understand that story first time. That movie has many funny scenes. I was laugh, and I want to watch again!

Fireworks

 

I went to Granville to see a teacher who teach English in Japan. He is Canadian, but he works in my Japanese school. I met my friends at station, and we went to there together. We spend good time with him. Next, we went to English Bay to watch fireworks. There were many people sit down in the beach. I was surprised because I was difficult to walk there because of many people. We waited fireworks for three hours. Fireworks was so beautiful and excited. I thought that it was good to go to watch fireworks.

My Thoughts about this class

Hi, everyone! I'm going to write about my class. I studied English in this class since May. At first I couldn’t feel comfortable in this class because I couldn’t understand almost English words and grammar, and there are many Japanese students in this class. I thought I can’t speak English because we spoke Japanese. However, Michael said “Don’t use Japanese” and “you should speak English.” Then, we started to use English in class. My classmate and our teacher is very kind and friendly. I could spend great time in class. I could improve my English levels, and I could study many words and Canadian cultures. Just now, I’m so sad because I have to leave this class. I will miss them and Michael. I want Michael to teach next class because his class is so fun and easy to follow. I never forget to spend time in this class. I love this class and Michael.

 

Westler trip

I went to Westler with my friend. It was so exciting. There is many beautiful mountains in Westler. The bus came to Douglas college, and it took about two hours. First, I and my friend went to shopping. We bought little candles that made from beeswax. It was very cute. I think that I will give it for my friend in Japan.

We took a gondola to mountainside. My friend doesn't like high place, but she wanted to go to the mountainside.

We went up tp the top of the mountain by lift.

I think that Westler is great place, and you should go there because you can feel great nature.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

 

Ice Cream:)

I went to Costco in the US with my host family. It took about 45 minutes. First, we ate hotdog in Costco, and my host mother bought too much cheese because that cheese is cheaper than Canada’s. She always buy many cheese and let her friends some of them.  Second, we went to super market in the US. There were very cheap products in the shop. After that, we went to ice cream shop in farm.  My host mother bought ice creams for me and host brothers. It was very delicious because it used fresh milk. The last, my host brothers bought a very cheap ring. When we were coming home, a road was jammed because of immigration. I talked to my host brothers about ring. I said, ‘’Please show me that ring.” They lent me that rings. I said joke “Thank you, I love you :)” They were surprised, and my mother was very laugh. I could enjoy that  short trip:)

An exciting life is the most important value in my life now because if my life is not exciting, I can’t enjoy my life. I love exciting thing. For example, I love traveling and see something new. I love festival and party. It makes me fun. I think it is important for human to enjoy something. Finally, I think this value probably will change in future because I’m very young now. When I become more adult, I will have new values and learn many things. However, I think that I have to enjoy youth because there is a lot of what I can experience only when I am young.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Hi, everyone! Do you know "The Very Hungry Caterpillar"?  This is a famous picture book in Japan, but it's written by Eric Carle-American writer in America. When I was a child, I loved this picture book. On last Saturday, I found the video on TV when my host brother looking for other TV show. I said Japanese that name, and he interested in that video. We watched "The Very Hungry Caterpillar."


He said "It's weird story!" I didn't know "weird" mean, he explained to me. I said "I think so too, but this story is very popular picture book in Japan."  I showed the very hungry caterpillar's product to him. He understood my opinion, and said "Japanese likes weird, right?" I couldn't say any more....
